On the 19th of November,
leaves retreat from the branches,
struggles to find new home amongst the grasses,
its voyage with the wind stucks in memory,
You have you poured,
twigs broken in harmony.
Your breeze, whistles in the morning air,
floats in my heart,
hoping for you to settle in my garden.
Typhoon may bend your stem,
earth’s core may bury you in compose,
but you’re part of the cycle
sun-kissed may rise again
and you’ll grow back in time.
Despite droplets of sorrow and brokenness,
That quiet feeling of your inner feeling that began to shower.
I know one day that heart will have a calm after the rain,
At the end of it all there is a sign of hope,
A rainbow that feels like a leap of faith.
I know one day your heart will start to cheer.
That pain would turn into a shiny sparkle of laughter,
Your smile is what I’m after.
A sign where you are okay,
Not a sign when it almost feels like you are left astray.
Let the burden of the soul ease,
A place where you can be.
Like under the calming shed of a tree,
A safe scene where you can flee.
The heart and mind can rest,
You can never be stressed.
Someday, you can wonder,
“How did I overcome this?”
That your life is now like the waves.
Yet in the middle of the chaos
you have learned peace,
That part can come to a cease.
