USC-TC — School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) Council conducted its traditional Pep Rally 2023 to send off SAS Majesties athletes for the USC Days 2023 at the Philip Van Engelen Building – Open Theatre in Talamban Campus around 4-6 p.m., Friday, October 6.

Julian Lauren Igot, Mr. SAS 2023; Charmy-ann Raab, Ms. SAS 2023; alongside the team captains of various competing sports and events—Daryll Restauro, men’s football; Lance Chester Sala, men’s volleyball; Blaise Venice Veloso, women’s volleyball; Maria Tangcay, women’s basketball; Marvin Navarro, men’s basketball under Delta; Van Velasquez, men’s basketball under Sigma; Rikka Nicola Arcenal, SAS Royale; Alexander James Velez, SAS Cheer; Vinceade Centino, men’s swimming; Siobhan Leonor, women’s swimming; Peeve Layague, women’s futsal; John Martin Suliva, men’s chess; Hillary Ceniza, women’s lawn tennis; Jann Ramses Sumalinog, men’s lawn tennis; Ms. Carmela Inocentes, women’s table tennis; Dylan Wolfgang Sebastian Sios-e, men’s table tennis; Prince Isaac, mobile legend esports; Joshua Brent Macaldo, flag football; Venice Moore, ultimate frisbee men’s and women’s, Vinz Godfriel Gonzales, men’s badminton; and Evannah Allison Lin, women’s badminton.

SAS Pep Rally, an annual royal assembly for SAS Majesties, is purposely done for SAS Carolinians to experience the pride of belongingness to the School of Arts and Sciences, to motivate the athletes for their approaching tournaments, and to bring together all SAS students and athletes to build a solid support network within the SAS community.

SAS Dean Glenn G. Glarino and Assistant Dean Paul John L. Geraldino simultaneously delivered their words of encouragement through a video presentation.

“Fight, fight, fight and never give up” and “Continue to fight and win” were words of encouragement from Dean Glarino and Assistant Dean Geraldino.

Kevin Ken Remedio, SAS Coordinator, led the oath of sportsmanship for all SAS athletes.

Trisha Marie Rebayla, vice-president of Societatis Lingua Artes (Solares), hosted the event, with SAS Royale and SAS Cheer as guest performers.

USC Days 2023 is set to be scheduled from October 23-28.
