Sublimity in print.

For God so loved the world

that He gave His only begotten Son;

The only begotten Son was born,

To; among; for God’s greatest creations

Once upon a time, Divinity dined with humans

He took the last piece of meat someone eyed

His body which embraced aplenty

Yearned, tired, and traveled up and wide

Perhaps he was a boy adorned with flowers

Mary’s son, he was called.

And when the boy is pricked with thorns,

She would suck his finger and scold

In his youth, he would be taught to hammer,

With Joseph motioning the ropes of the job.

And in times that he would make a mistake,

He would jolt awake as his hand throbbed.

He would have walked across town,

And understood that people cheered in joy.

Perhaps his heart would tingle

And other’s enjoyment, he’d wish to enjoy.

And on the fated day He knew would come,

he was crowned with thorns he knew as a child.

Nailed to a type of wood he learned to saw,

crucified by people to whom His life was alm

Humans can be cruel, yet beautiful all the same.

Easy prey to sin, while loving in the fray.

The only begotten Son came to this conclusion,

being born among God’s treasured oeuvre.

God sees the beauty in humanity worth saving,

And so He sent his Son to His fated station.

For God so loved His only begotten Son;

That He sent Him to live among His creation.
